Quick Tip: Caring for Combination Skin

With combination skin, to improve the oily problem area and not damage the rest of your skin, wash your face in the morning and at night with a foaming cleanser. Your skin shouldn’t feel tight when you’re done washing it.

At night, use an alcohol-free toner with salicylic or glycolic acid all over your face, or, if your cheecks feel dry, just on your forehead, nose, and chin. This kind of toner is essential since the acid clears out the pores and prevents pimples without drying out the skin.

Use a non-medicated scrub, one made of natural ingredients like papaya or mango seeds to treat skin weekly. If you’re acne-prone, it’ll provide the extra exfoliation you need to stop red, inflamed pimples from forming.
