Eye of the Day: A little bit of blue

Blue wasn’t really a color that I often used for my eyes. I’m all for the “no make up” make up look which involves mostly nude eye shadow colors as well as neutral ones but, the other day, I went and saw how blue would look on me. I did this simple look with a hint of blue on the crease.Eye of the Day

Step 1: Apply a frosty pink eye shadow under your brow, on your eyelids and on the inner area of your eye right beside your tear ducts.

Pink Salmon Eye Shadow ColorStep 2: Take a bit of salmon colored eye shadow and apply it from your crease going upward to your brow bone. The color should be applied first on the crease, blending it out upward and letting the color fade as you reach just below your brow.

Apply Blue EyeshadowStep 3: Take whatever blue eye shadow you already have and blend it on your crease.┬áDon’t forget to apply it on your lower lash line but just half of the way.

Apply White Eyeliner

Step 4: Apply white eye liner on your lower waterline.

Last Few StepsStep 5: Curl your lashes. Apply 2 coats of mascara on your upper and lower lashes. Your done.

This is a great look for girls with blue, green or grey eyes. Mine is brown and the shade of blue I used doesn’t really do much to compliment my eye color. Personally, I’m going to stick to my go to colors –┬áneutral tones. But, what do you think? Do you think blue looks good on me?
